ABOUT

Flat Creek Youth Camp is located on 170 acres, on the property of Camp Arthur, just outside Vincennes, Indiana. We seek to share the gospel and raise up children and youth as disciples. This is achieved through our summer camping program, retreats, and other various events. Our goal at Flat Creek Youth Camp is to provide a Christ-centered camping ministry to youth.

We have a number of supporting churches and a talented group of volunteer staff that serve at our camps and events. Our events are exciting trips for students and will have them wanting to attend again and again. If you desire to send a student to one of our events, or to serve, feel free to contact us here or on our Facebook page.

Flat Creek Youth Camp held its first camp sessions in the summer of 1966. The camp was originally located in Pike County, outside of Petersburg, Indiana. The Pike County land was purchased by the state of Indiana in 2011 for the development of Interstate 69. Our camping ministry was done at various rental facilities from 2011 to 2016. As of the fall of 2016 Flat Creek Youth Camp will hold camp sessions on the property of Camp Arthur. For 50 years now devoted followers of Jesus have given so that youth could be reached through the ministry of Flat Creek Youth Camp.

Flat Creek Youth Camp is a ministry of the Flat Creek Association of General Baptists. The Flat Creek Association of General Baptists was established by Elder Samuel T. Thompson in 1870. The association is a part of the larger denomination of General Baptists established by Elder Benoni Stinson in the 1820s, with the establishment of a national organization in 1870.
